Welcome to the Chicago Academy Elementary School's website!  We are excited about our school and have a lot of great things happening during this time of the year. 

Dear Parents/Guardians,

 Welcome to a new school year!  As we continue our effort to maintain a separate dismissal time with the high school, our school’s hours are 8:20 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Please note our school’s bell schedule below.

 8:00 a.m.        Earliest drop off time.  No supervision available before 8:00 a.m.

8:00 a.m.       Breakfast line proceeds to cafeteria (students are allowed to go up to breakfast between 8:00 -8:15 a.m.)

8:15 a.m.        Students are not allowed up to breakfast after 8:15 a.m.

8:20 a.m.        Line-up bell rings

8:25 a.m.        Students are escorted into the building by their teachers

8:30 a.m.        Instruction begins promptly

8:30 a.m.       All students not in their classroom by the sound of the 8:30 bell are issued a tardy.  Therefore, get your children to school before 8:20 to avoid being marked tardy.

2:15 p.m.        Students are dismissed

2:30 p.m.       All students not accompanied by a parent must leave the school premises. (Elementary students are not allowed to congregate near or around the high school entrance/exits. Students waiting for their HS sibling must wait in the elementary student area.) No skateboarding allowed.

We appreciate your cooperation and assistance in returning the Student Fees and Lunch Application forms. Completed lunch forms should be returned immediately. Assistance is available for completing the lunch forms. Please ask in the office.
